Superb opportunity to relocate to the countryside of the Western Cape! Our client, part of an established group of accounting, audit and tax advisory specialists, seeks an Assistant Audit Manager to join their team. Their client industries are predominantly in the agricultural and manufacturing sectors, the economic mainstays of the area. This role suits a well-rounded candidate, who is a good team player and takes pride in all they do. Based in the rich heritage and warm hospitality town of Worcester, in the Western Cape!
Responsibilities:
- Audit, tax, accounting services for a portfolio of clients, largely audit
- Assist and direct junior articled clerks
- Minimum of a completed tertiary qualification in Accounting and completed SAICA articles
- Good working knowledge of IFRS for SME's and tax experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise well with clients
- Excellent communication skills, incl. very good command of Afrikaans
- Strong organisational and planning skills, ensuring deadlines are well executed
- Must have advanced computer skills as well as Caseware experience
- Team player, who is self-driven with a positive attitude
- Well-presented and client-centric
