Responsibilities:
- Planning, execution & review of audit and other engagement files (compilation of financial statements, independent reviews and agreed upon procedures)
- Coaching / training other staff in the team
- Day-to-day management of the audit team and work-in-progress
- Prepare and monitor year planning
- Client and director liaison
- Preparing tax computations and management reports
- Prepare and monitor audit budgets
- Prepare quotations
- Meeting deadlines
- Staying up to date with the latest technical standards and legislation
- Reporting directly to the directors
- Audit and other engagement related administration

Requirements:
- For managerial position: Completed SAICA articles & CA(SA) qualification or post graduate studies in progress towards qualifying as CA(SA)
- For position as senior team member: Completed SAICA articles & SAICA accredited B-degree
- Own transport, a valid driverxc3xa2xc2x80xc2x99s license, and willingness to travel
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English

- Ability to cope under pressure and achieve deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to function well in a team
- Strong management skills (for managerial position)
- Experience in compilations, reviews, and audits
- Up to date knowledge of IFRS for SMExc3xa2xc2x80xc2x99s, Companies Act, International Standards of Auditing and other applicable legislation
- Preferably working knowledge of CaseWare and MS Office
