The Asset Care Manager is responsible for the overall management & implementation of an effective Asset Care Management system across all the divisions within the VKB Group. Requirements

• Grade 12/ NQF 4
• Relevant technical qualification/ Completed Trade Certificate (Millwright/ Fitter & Turner/ Electrical or similar)
• Previous experience in Maintenance Planning, Scheduling and Asset Management
• Valid Driver's licence with reliable transport
• Experience in the OnKey Management System (Pragma) will serve as recommendation.
• Computer literate in MS Office with the ability to work on EXCEL on an intermediate level.
• This role requires frequent travelling to the different business units within the VKB Group.

• Compile and implement Asset Management Business Process Standardisation across VKBxe2x80x99s Divisions, ensuring uniformity and compliance to all practices.
• Coordinate and implement Asset Management Improvements across the different divisions/ companies within the VKB Group to ensure continuous improvement.
• Compile and implement Asset Register Administration across the different divisions/ companies within the VKB Group, distributing and training relevant personnel on the standards of OnKey at VKB sites.
• Train and coach staff to ensure uniformity with regards to asset identification in order to label and code assets within the VKB Group.
• Monitor master data changes, work order creation procedure and maintenance scheduling on sites.
• Audit OnKey EAMS per site annually.
• Improve ERP System (MS Navision/ Business Central) interface and OnKey sites in collaboration with VKB I&T department.
• Continuous liaison with internal departments and service providers to ensure quality service and products.
• Identify and implement spare parts administration improvement opportunities.
• To ensure adherence to the risk management policy of VKB Industries.
• Decrease life cycle costs on assets at VKB Industries.
• Decrease down times at VKB Industries through implementing effective maintenance and preventative maintenance systems and policies to increase productivity and limit financial losses.
