Job Summary The Assembler's primary role is to accurately and efficiently assemble shopfitting components, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet project specifications. This includes working with solid wood, and other shopfitting materials. The role requires precise craftsmanship, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and adherence to safety and quality standards. * Read and interpret shopfitting drawings, ensuring accurate assembly of components. * Assemble wooden and metal shopfitting structures using hand and power tools. * Work with various materials, including MDF, plywood, solid wood, laminates, and veneers. * Conduct quality control checks to ensure components meet required standards. * Operate woodworking machinery and tools to cut, shape, and assemble parts. * Work closely with the production team to ensure timely completion of projects. * Identify defects or issues and report them to the Production Manager. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment. * Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. * Assist in packaging and preparing finished products for delivery. * Provide input on improvements in assembly processes to enhance efficiency. * Additional adhoc duties to be performed from time to time * Grade 12 or equivalent. * Certification or diploma in Carpentry, Joinery, or related field is advantageous. * Experience in shopfitting Manufacturing or woodworking industry. * Understanding of technical drawings and specifications. * 3 Years experience
