The purpose of this position is to carry out plumbing-related civil maintenance and repair work on facilities and infrastructure, ensuring reliable water and drainage systems, compliance with safety standards, and a well-maintained working environment.
Minimum Requirements
Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program or equivalent experience. Trade tested plumber with 3 years' experience and more Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety protocols. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Valid driver's licence Required to work overtime and standby Ability to multi-task. Ad/hoc , civil related work
Duties and Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair pipes, valves, fixtures Work with various types of pipes, including copper, pvc, polycorp and galvanized. install couplers up to 200 mm pvc pipes Use various tools and equipment, such as pipe cutters, drills, and wrenches. Diagnose and repair plumbing faults including leaks, blockages, and drainage issues using jetting machines and cameras Conduct regular inspections to ensure systems are working efficiently and safely. Provide clear documentation of work completed using job management systems. Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent service. * Follow safety protocols and regulations.
