Position: Armed Response Officer

Location: Gauteng

Job Type: Full-Time / Fixed Term

A leading security services provider, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Armed Response Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their property through effective patrolling, access control, and incident response.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Grade 12 education. Grade C accreditation and registration with the relevant security authority. A minimum of 2 years' experience in the security industry. Valid SAPS Firearm competency certificate for handgun, shotgun, and self-loading rifle (minimum 2 years). Business Purpose certification. Valid driver's license. No criminal record or pending cases. Willingness to undergo regular criminal background checks. Must be physically fit and able to perform demanding tasks. Must reside in the area where the position is advertised.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Report writing and documentation. Safeguarding clients and their assets. Conducting regular patrols. Managing access control at client premises. Managing and directing people in case of emergencies. Completing relevant registers and logs. Performing standard duties as per training and operational requirements.

Core Competencies:

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations. Ability to follow instructions accurately and execute tasks efficiently.
