Job Description
A SMEIP Construction Company is looking to fill the role of Area Manager for Northern Cape Region. The Area Manager is expected to lead and manage the organisation to effectively, manage, implement, and monitor the development of the organisation. The key performance areas are, but not limited to:
Business Development
Client Relationship
Supplier Management
Contract/Projects Management
Operations Management
SHEQ ManagementQualifications and experience:
- Trade test in electrical and/or Instrumentation.
- Qualification in Project Management will be an advantage.
- Registration with professional body would be an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 xe2x80x93 7 Yearsxe2x80x99 experience at a management level.
- Experience in Construction industry is a must. (Mining industry will be a preference).
- Working knowledge of contracts used in the Construction environment (NEC and FIDIC).
- Experience in estimating and tendering in electrical or instrumentation.
- Proven experience in business development/sales.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures.
- Valid Drivers Liscense
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Operational management
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Ability to communicate and operate at all levels.
