KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Operations Management

Take overall responsibility for ensuring that all branches in the area are run efficiently to achieve operational goals, this requires thorough knowledge of operational issues as well as effective communications and close working relationships with other departments such as Information Technology, Finance, Customer Care, Racing Operations, Publishing and Human Resources.
Take overall responsibility for ensuring all branch managers and operational staff are trained and competent in all operational policies, procedures and systems as contained in the branch operations manual and that everyone adheres to these procedures in the execution of their duties.
Ensure thorough audits and visits to branch premises and surroundings are kept clean, tidy, and comfortable for the use of customers and staff.
Ensure that all reported faults and other operational issues are attended to by the respective people or departments.
Continuously check and monitor stock levels and rotation thereof to ensure efficient use and avoidance of wastage.
Ensure that all operational and security measures are adhered to by all to protect company assets.
Hold regular meetings with Branch Managers to facilitate effective communication.

Customer Service

Maintain regular communication with branches to establish issues and concerns.
Train all Branch Managers on all relevant tote rules, bet types and other areas of product knowledge.
