Aquatic Stage Staff (diver)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform as a skilled diver

On Board Cruise Ship

aquatic stage shows, including synchronized swimming, underwater acrobatics, and other performances.

- Ensure the safety of all performers and guests during shows, following all safety protocols and procedures.

- Maintain and care for all diving equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.

- Assist with the setup and breakdown of the aquatic stage and props before and after each show.

- Collaborate with other onboard entertainment staff to create engaging and exciting performances for guests.

- Attend regular training and rehearsals to improve skills and maintain performance standards.

- Interact with guests during meet and greet sessions and answer any questions about the shows.

- Assist with other onboard entertainment duties as needed.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 1- 2 years of experience as a professional diver in a performance setting.

- Valid diving certification and experience in open water diving.

- Strong swimming and diving skills, including the ability to perform synchronized routines.

- Physically fit and able to perform in a high-energy, physically demanding environment.

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical exam and background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R16000,00 - R21000,00 per month

Work Location: In person
