Job Description
Introduction:
We are a well-established and reputable national furniture removal company currently seeking an Apprentice Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our Cape Town branch (Northern Suburbs).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the servicing and maintenance of our trucks and commercial vehicles.
- Perform basic repairs under the supervision of the mechanic.
- Test vehicles before and after repair procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining the workshop and warehouse areas and keeping them clean and organized.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Ad hoc responsibilities as required by the mechanic.
- Grade 12/ equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of commercial workshop experience.
- Experience with diesel trucks.
- Heavy Motor Vehicle Driver's license (C1/EC) and PDP.
- Must be a non-smoker and non-drinker.
- Must have a stable employment record and contactable references.
- Physically and medically fit and healthy.
R10 000 R15 000 CTC per month.
