This is
not a closing or commission-only sales role
. Your focus will be on
outbound calling, asking the right questions, understanding client needs, and passing well-qualified opportunities to the sales team
.
You'll play a key role at the top of the sales funnel, ensuring our BDMs spend their time speaking to the right clients, at the right time, with the right context.
What You'll Be Doing
Making outbound calls to prospective clients to introduce our services
Having structured, professional conversations to understand:
Client needs
Suitability
Decision-makers
Readiness to proceed
Qualifying leads against agreed criteria before passing them on
Booking well-prepared, high-quality appointments for the sales team
Capturing accurate notes, call outcomes, and next steps in the CRM
Managing follow-ups, call-backs, and appointment confirmations
Handling inbound enquiries when required
Supporting the sales team with background research and pre-meeting information
Working closely with sales and operations to ensure smooth handovers
Providing feedback on objections, lead quality, and market trends
Operating within internal quality, compliance, and data protection standards
What We're Looking For
Confident and professional telephone manner
Experience in
outbound calling, appointment setting, lead qualification, or sales support
Strong questioning and listening skills
Highly organised with good attention to detail
Comfortable working to targets and activity-based KPIs
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desirable (But Not Essential)
Experience in financial services, professional services, property, or regulated industries
CRM experience and familiarity with sales pipelines
Exposure to UK clients or working UK business hours
Understanding of compliance-led or advisory sales environments

Salary:
Negotiable, up to R17,000 basic + performance bonus + transport allowance + post-probation benefits
