We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Analytics Manager to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. As the Analytics Manager, you will lead our data analytics initiatives, driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will be responsible for managing a team of analysts, developing analytics strategies, and delivering actionable insights to support business growth.



Develop and implement data analytics strategies aligned with organizational goals

Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation

Design and oversee the execution of complex data analysis projects

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into analytical solutions

Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate insights effectively

Implement best practices for data governance, quality, and security

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data analytics

Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders

Drive the adoption of advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling and machine learning

Ensure the team's analytics outputs meet high standards of accuracy and reliability

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience:

5+ years of experience in data analytics or related field

2+ years experience in Workforce Management is required.

2+ years of experience in a leadership role

Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, and R

Expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI

Strong statistical analysis skills and understanding of machine learning techniques

Excellent project management abilities and attention to detail

Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members

Outstanding communication and presentation skills

Experience with business intelligence and data warehousing concepts

Ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable business insights

Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking capabilities

Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
