Job Description
The main purpose of the position is to be responsible for, but not limited to, the monitoring and management of risk events within the Bureau Division.
Monitoring and Phoning of all customer's high-risk alarms received. Activation of time-specific events and zones according to customer expectations. Initiate Phase 1 Recovery Channel for stolen and hijacked vehicles. Handover Phase 1 Recovery process to Phase 2 Escalations. Assist with all track and position requests. Assist with all quick report requests. Complete daily, weekly and monthly internal and external reports. Assist and handle all level 1 associated escalations. Escalate queries to the correct channel. Attend all scheduled internal and external meetings when required. Strictly adhere to all Departmental and Company Policies, Procedures and SOP's. Complete any other task or duty management may reasonably expect of you.
Qualifications & experience
Minimum Grade 12/Matric Additional training or certification in security, emergency response, or related fields preferred. 2 Years Fleet Controller Experience Prior experience in alarm monitoring, emergency dispatch, or customer service roles advantageous. Fluent in two languages of which one must be English - Proficient Ability to work under pressure and in a high paced environment
Skills
Intermediate level in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
