Job Title: Alarm Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Alarm Technician to install, maintain, and repair domestic alarm systems, as well as perform on-site programming and testing.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Minimum 2year experience as an alarm technician with traceable references

- Previous programming, wiring, installations, and fault-finding experience advantageous

Job Requirements and Attributes:

- Valid driver's license essential

- Basic knowledge of CCTV, intercom systems, and access control

- Ability to work well under pressure

- Ability to think innovatively and outside the box

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair security systems, alarm devices, and related equipment

- Install and repair electronic components

- Mount and fasten control panels, door and window contacts, sensors, or video cameras

- Demonstrate systems for customers and explain details

- Test and repair circuits and sensors

- Feed cables through access holes, roof spaces, or cavity walls

- Examine systems to locate problems

- Inspect equipment to ensure proper functioning

- Test backup batteries, keypad programming, sirens, or other security features

Working Conditions:

- Full-time position

- In-person work location
