Airconditioning Maintenance Technician
Kuilsriver
Salary: R15,000 (slightly negotiable)
A well-established manufacturing company in Kuilsriver is looking for an Airconditioning Maintenance Technician to join their maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of ventilation and air conditioning systems in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric (Grade 12)
Minimum of 2 years' experience as an airconditioning technician
Valid driver's license
Solid understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating
Ability to read schematics and work plans
Willingness to continue education in the AC field
Able to work after hours, weekends, and public holidays on short notice
Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces
Strong interpersonal, communication, and troubleshooting skills
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and AC systems
Service gas-operated chillers on cranes
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
Clean, adjust, and perform warranty services on systems
Conduct emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
Maintain logs and records of maintenance activities
Ensure compliance with service standards and OHSA regulations
Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training as required
