Our client is a well-established mechanical engineering company delivering high-quality HVAC and refrigeration solutions across South Africa. They focus on providing reliable, safe, and energy-efficient systems for commercial and industrial clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work with experienced teams and gain exposure to complex VRV chiller installations and maintenance.
You will install, service, and maintain commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems, with a focus on VRV chillers in shopping malls. Duties include troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and ensuring systems operate efficiently. The role requires technical expertise, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with other engineers to deliver quality service to clients across the Free State.
Job experience and Skills Required:
- Completed Refrigeration Trade Certification (Aircon Technician / Trade Test)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning
- Hands-on experience with VRV chillers, ideally in shopping malls
- Immediate availability and open to locations across the Free State
- Strong problem-solving skills, safety-conscious, and able to work independently
