Essential Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 yearsxe2x80x99 working experience.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (working towards and in progress studies are acceptable).
  • Excellent communication skills (written, and verbal) in Afrikaans and English.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Team player and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment with deadline driven objectives.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
Function
  • Responsible for daily Crush PNL
  • Work closely with FX accountant to minimize foreign currency exposure.
  • Key stakeholder as a link between front office, back office and crushing facility.
  • Performs daily and monthly reconciliations between the PNL and general ledger.
  • Provide feedback on any variances and key drivers for the monthxe2x80x99s performance as part of monthly reporting.
  • Provide analytical support to the Business Controller (BC)
  • Managing and delivering key metrics to Business Controller with respect to PNL and GM transactions.
  • Provide BC with reviewed monthly general ledger with impact of journal postings.
  • Coordinated with BC to improve risk management infrastructure through detailed monthly review of control issues raised by internal/external audits and risk team.
  • Perform daily reconciliations between multiple systems and verify costs and positions.
  • Inventory reconciliations.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Payment review and approval.
  • Ad hoc duties as required.
