The Aged Receivables Controller is responsible for overseeing the management of outstanding customer accounts to ensure timely collection of receivables, minimize bad debt exposure, and optimize cash flow. In addition to this, the controller will ensure completeness and accuracy of customer invoices, with no revenue leakage. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the financial health of the organization by ensuring accurate reporting and proactive engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor and manage the aged debtor's ledger, ensuring timely follow-up on overdue accounts.
Ensure all revenue streams are invoiced to customers on a monthly basis, ensuring no revenue leakage.
Monthly Inter-company balance and transaction confirmations.
Manage the list of queried invoices with customers to ensure disputes are resolved.
Develop and implement effective collection strategies to reduce aged receivables.
Collaborate with sales, customer service, and legal teams to resolve disputes and facilitate payments.
Prepare regular reports on receivables aging, collection performance, and risk exposure for senior management.
Maintain accurate records of customer communications and payment commitments.
Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers in collaboration with the credit control team.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.

Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
At least 5 years in an accounting environment
Advanced Excel
Knowledge of Sage (beneficial) and Bl Reporting
