FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE AND HUMANITIES

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES

• Masterxe2x80x99s degree in Social Science and Humanities, Arts or related field
• Registered for a Doctoral degree
• Two years teaching experience at an institution of higher learning.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Must be able to teach the above-mentioned modules in the Extended Programme
• Participate in administrative duties
• Undertake research either individually or in collaboration
• Participate in different committees at the departmental and faculty level
• Participate in community initiatives embarked on by the department and faculty
• Any other duties related to academic and professional development of self and students

ADDED ADVANTAGE

• A Doctoral degree in Social Science and Humanities
• Experience teaching in an extended programme
• Experience in supervision of postgraduate students
