AFFILIATE MARKETING EXECUTIVE

CONTEXT | YOUR IMPACT

ReturnX is looking for a driven individual to join our young dynamic team based in Johannesburg, South Africa with a client base around the globe. This role provides you with an excellent opportunity to execute bold ideas concerning affiliate marketing across various industries, including insurance, finance, online fashion, etc . The successful candidate must have specific knowledge and experience working in the affiliate marketing industry.

EDUCATION

Degree in Marketing or any relevant field

RESPONSIBILITIES

Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual gross profit targets Identify and recruit new affiliates through various approaches including social networks, marketplace sites, etc. Reengage inactive affiliates and deepen relationship with existing affiliates Negotiate and manage contracts and commission structures for affiliates Maintain direct communication and recommend new campaigns for affiliates and provide performance feedback Monitor affiliate activity, analyse performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend ways to increase affiliate performance Proactively monitor traffic sources to determine which affiliates should be prioritized and focused on Stay up to date with the latest affiliate marketing trends Keep affiliates up to date with the latest company news Work with the Head of Delivery to forecast ROI and activity for all affiliate partners - both new and existing Ensure all ROI and sales targets are met through the affiliate channels and partnerships

KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 5 years experience in an affiliate marketing or relevant Digital Business Development role with the industry A solid understanding of the affiliate marketing industry Previous work experience with CRM to maintain and keep track of all digital business development related activities and records such as prospect leads, opportunities, and sales (Salesforce is a plus) Ability to sell affiliate opportunities to potential affiliates Strong knowledge of affiliate platforms and programmes Passion for affiliate marketing and the wider digital industry Strong written and verbal communication skills - including presenting and reporting Strong people and partnership management skills Strong Excel and numerical skills A good understanding of the whole digital marketing mix A good working knowledge of the latest affiliate marketing and online partnerships trends Must be able to work remotely with a strong and stable Internet connectivity (fibre is a plus) plus own laptop
