Job Summary
AESTHETIC THERAPIST
DURBANVILLE - Northern Suburbs, Western-Cape (South Africa)
START: A.S.A.P / July 2025
TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Monday - Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm / 10:00am - 19:00 pm (early & close shift each)
• Alternating Saturday 08:00am - 15:00pm
• Closed on all major public holidays
• Business closure over Christmas & New Years for all employees

REPORTS TO: Business Owner
EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full time / Permanent
SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:

• R10,000 - R12,000 Basic per month (BOE)
• Service Commission (10% - 18%)
• Retail Commission (10% - 15% sliding scale)
• Excellent earning potential

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / City & Guilds / BABTAC or internationally recognized accreditation

• DIPLOMA Health & Skin Care / Somatology obtained
• LASER HR & SR trained / experienced
• BONUS - Dermal Aesthetics (not minimum requirement but nice to have!)
• Beautifully groomed, manicured and looking the part of a Skin Care & Aesthetic professional
• Confident and knowledgeable on advanced skin care technologies and ingredients
• Computer literate with a flair for marketing
• Able to work independently - you will work with a small team and run your own column with our established clientele
• Accountable, reliable and self-disciplined
• Mature, professional and proven employment history within aesthetic industry

EXPERIENCE: * At least 4+ Years experience as a Skin Care Therapist (post-grad)

• high-end salon or aesthetic therapy experience
• Experience working with active ingredients
• Aesthetic devices and advanced treatments
• LASER hair removal & skin rejuvenation experienced
• Able to perform standard beauty services (wax, tint, mani, pedi, massage etc. as per client's request)

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: * Confident performing a detailed skin analysis

• Confidently perform advance skin care treatments, peels and resurfacing treatments & Skin penetrating treatments
• Ability to effectively prescribe relevant home care to clients accordingly
• Retail confident
• Confidently re-book clients to build rapport and maintain clientele
• Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision
• Assist in product consideration when expanding the brand, menu creation and general advancement of the business
• Driven and motivated to upskill by staying up to date with trends and products
• Confidently promote your services to ensure clients rebook

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality aesthetic treatments, developing personalized treatment plans, promoting services through marketing initiatives, and ensuring an exceptional client experience from consultation to post-treatment follow-up.
