Advertising Executive

based in South Africa to join our remote team and contribute to exciting campaigns for clients in the UK and US.

The Role



As an Advertising Executive at Humana, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and delivering integrated advertising campaigns across a range of channels. You'll be involved in both the creative and strategic sides of advertising, working closely with clients and our internal team to bring campaigns to life. This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in South Africa while staying connected with a vibrant and forward-thinking UK team.

Key Responsibilities



Plan, coordinate, and manage advertising campaigns across digital, social, print, and other media platforms. Communicate directly with clients to understand their goals, develop briefs, and present campaign ideas and updates. Collaborate with internal creative teams, designers, and content creators to ensure campaigns meet brand standards and project timelines. Monitor campaign performance, analyse results, and provide actionable insights to optimise outcomes. Keep up to date with industry trends and innovations, applying new ideas and tools where relevant. Maintain organised project documentation, campaign calendars, and communication logs.

What We're Looking For



A minimum of 2 years' experience in an advertising, marketing, or communications role, ideally within an agency setting. Strong understanding of advertising and media planning, particularly across digital platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, and programmatic media. Excellent client-facing communication skills--confident in leading calls, responding to briefs, and presenting ideas. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously. Creative thinking paired with a practical, results-driven mindset. Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Slack, and project management software (e.g. Trello, Asana). Experience with design platforms such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is advantageous but not essential.
