Job Description
My client is a chemical manufacturing company based in Willow Park Manor, Pretoria East, and they are looking for a strong, capable, no-nonsense Administrator to run the show behind the scenes.
This is not a corporate setup.
It's hands-on, sometimes messy, always busy - and they need someone who knows work is work and gets things done properly, the first time around.
What will you be doing:
- Running all office administration like a tight ship
- Overseeing receiving of raw materials and stock
- Booking out stock accurately for production and manufacturing
- Performing quality checks before products go out the door
- Keeping paperwork in order for quality control processes
- Ensuring records, delivery notes, and inventory logs are up to date
- Liaising with the production team and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks
- Being the reliable go-to in the office
- Matric (essential)
- Excellent computer skills - you must be confident and fast
- Strong sense of discipline and responsibility
- Able to stand your ground and manage pressure
- Someone who doesn't need micromanaging
- Detail-oriented and reliable with excellent follow-through
- A team player - but not afraid to say no when needed
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a big plus
- It's not a corporate job with bells, whistles, and endless meetings
- It's not for clock-watchers or people looking to coast
- It's not for the faint-hearted - you'll be busy, accountable, and important
The salary is benchmarked at a maximum of R12 000 per month, please do not apply if you earn more than this.
