We are seeking a formidable leader to take full ownership of our radiology center located at

Lenmed Randfontein Private Hospital

. This is not just an administrative role; you are the

single point of accountability

for the center's success. You will manage the intersection of clinical precision and operational efficiency, serving as the primary liaison between ProScan Corporate, hospital leadership, and medical staff.

We need a firm, detail-oriented professional who can navigate the high-pressure environment of a 24/7 trauma hospital while maintaining a seamless, professional experience for every patient.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership:

Manage the end-to-end workflow of the center, including reception, scheduling, billing, and the timely delivery of scans and reports.

Staff Management:

Supervise, mentor, and lead both clinical (radiographers) and administrative staff. Ensure optimal performance, professional conduct, and strict adherence to ProScan protocols.

Stakeholder Liaison:

Act as the face of ProScan at Lenmed Randfontein. Build and maintain strong professional relationships with hospital management, referring doctors, and nursing staff.

Financial & Admin Oversight:

Ensure accurate billing processes and efficient resource management to meet the center's productivity and profitability targets.

Emergency Accountability:

While working regular hours, you are responsible for the center's 24/7 integrity. You must be available to resolve critical operational issues or emergencies after hours and on weekends.

Quality & Compliance:

Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and professional ethics, ensuring the center is always "audit-ready" and compliant with South African healthcare regulations.

Requirements

Experience:

Minimum of

5 years of Administration and Management experience preferably in a radiology center, hospital, or healthcare environment.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree with a management qualification is a distinct advantage. Radiographer experience is advantageous.

Location:

Ideally

reside within 15 minutes of Randfontein

to facilitate rapid response to emergency situations.

Leadership Style:

You must be firm, organized, and highly detail-oriented. You are expected to run an efficient "tight ship" where professionalism is non-negotiable.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in RIS/PACS systems and medical billing software.
