The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the Human Resource Development Team in the KZN region, enabling the efficient and effective delivery of Human Resource Development services to the business. This is a fixed-term contract to cover a maternity absence from 01 April 2026 to 31 October 2026.

Minimum Requirements
NATIONAL DIPLOMA
Business English: Fluent
Effective Communication Skills
Experience in Learning and Development and Recruitment Administration
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Working knowledge of databases, analytics and automated Learning- and Recruitment Management Systems
Understanding of the SETA Landscape and working experience in administration of Seta Related Learning Interventions and the use of Seta Learning Management System
Working knowledge of Social Media Platforms e.g. LinkedIn

Duties and Responsibilities
General Support
Provide administrative support
Manage general enquiries related to the processes and the systems
Prepare and maintain presentations and manuals
Assist function with the preparation of articles and process specific notifications e.g. Clover Communicate/ In Clover
Co-ordinate the arrangements for special events and meetings
Learning and Development Process Support
Co-ordinate the preparation and maintenance of documentation for learner registration
Prepare and distribute material and documentation to support the Learning and Development Process
Provide coordination and support for the roll-out of training interventions and learnerships
Drive completion of Individual Development Plans in accordance to budget availability
Coordinate logistics related to the provision of learning and development
Arrange and prepare venues for training and communicate with delegates prior and during programs
Prepare learning material
Liaise with service providers to determine needs and requirements
Coordinate travel, flight and accommodation arrangements
Arrange for payments (service providers)
Handle documents and payments for employed and unemployed bursars
Workplace Skills Plan & Annual Training Report
Compile Annual Workplace Skills Plan for the region
Accurate capturing of training on the relevant system that will support the Annual Training report
Monitor the completion of the Workplace Skills Plan
Other
Update and maintain databases and information related to Learning Management on the Clover HR Management System
Provide reporting on Learning and Development
Ensure all SOPs are reviewed yearly, is updated, and employees assessed on the SOP.
Ensure interventions where employees are not competent on SOPs.
Actively support and drive the team process / concept together with managers.
* Equip Team Leaders with skills to manage their Level meetings with employees optimally.
