Job Description


This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales and Administrative Assistant located in Greenpoint, Cape Town. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. This is an immediate vacancy for a candidate with previous experience in a Customer Service environment coupled with strong administrative skills.

The Role:

Join a team that offers and facilitates expertly organized, fun-filled and safe motorcycle tours and rentals. You will engage with their customers whether on the phone or via email or in person and ensure the office administration is maintained. A key responsibility generating quotes for their customers, so precision and an eye for detail will be essential. This is a challenging and varied role and will only suit a self-motivated individual wishing to develop their administrative and customer relation skills and willing to be a team member.

What Youxe2x80x99ll be doing:

  • Online enquiries and bookings of motorcycles and tours
  • Quotations, orders, invoices, vouchers and all administration pertaining to motorcycle rental process
  • Receiving and processing of enquiries and follow-ups
  • Manage motorcycle (and calendarized) bookings
  • Allocation of motorcycles according to fleet availability
  • Secure dates for rentals and negotiate terms
  • Pre-check bookings, checking details of each reservation in order to prevent double bookings
  • Contracts: Issue, follow up on returns and ensure due dates of contracts and payments are adhered to
  • Concise payment and deposit follow ups
  • Reservations of accommodation, activities, liaison with hotels and establishments as well as management there-of
  • Liaison with international clients
  • Retail rental sales (including walk-ins and web/phone appointments)
  • Rental check-out/check-in of motorcycles and applicable administration
  • Advisory capacity re motorcycle models, touring options, routes etc
  • Daily & weekly reports
  • Cleaning & safety checking rental units
  • Weekly inventory check
  • Maintaining order in the office and warehouse
  • Potentially travel to different dealerships or remote locations on and as-needed basis
  • Willingness to jump in and help wherever needed
Youxe2x80x99ll Possess The Following Experience/Abilities:
  • Experience with customer service, excellent command of English language, spelling and writing skills
  • High accuracy levels
  • Highly Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint xe2x80x93 APPLE MAC experience will put you in the running!!!
  • Ability to use initiative and completion of tasks
  • A valid (unexpired) driverxe2x80x99s license without any endorsement and own reliable transport
  • FLEXIBLE to work Saturdays and/or Sundays/After Hours depending on business and operational requirements
  • Physically fit with high energy levels and self-motivated
  • Sober Habits
  • Ability to multi-task
Remuneration:

R12,000 Gross remuneration (depending on applicable experience)
