Job Description

Introduction

The Administrative Officer is responsible for all administration functions relating to Human Resources, payroll, procurement, filing, Department of Labour submissions, maintaining registers, updating timesheets, and supporting the overall administrative functions of the organisation.

Duties & Responsibilities



- Manage and maintain all aspects of Human Resources including employee records, contracts, leave management, and payroll processing.
- Coordinating the procurement process including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, processing purchase orders, and maintaining vendor relationships.

-Coordinate weekly payment run
- Organize and maintain accurate filing systems for both physical and digital records.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of documents to the Department of Labour in compliance with regulations.
- Maintain and update registers for various aspects of the organisation.
- Assist in monitoring and updating timesheets for staff as required.
- Create policies and support in the implementation thereof.

Desired Experience & Qualification

-At least 8 years working experience in a similar fast paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Pastel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

-Valid driving license

-Fluency in English

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of HR and payroll processes is desirable.

Education:



- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field.

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
