Assist with administrative functions required by Department. This post reports to MANAGER (ADMINISTRATION) Key Responsibility Areas
Provides a general administrative support function to the Department.
Provides assistance in liaising with clients i.e Councillors, staff and the public.
Develops and maintains a Filing and Register system.
Peruses through council minutes and circulars and informing management of
issues that impact on the department or the work of the department. * Undertake arrangements in respect of conferences, seminars, presentations, meetings and other Departmental functions. * Undertakes administrative arrangements for the travel of managements for the travel of management. * Processing of invoices and departments budget management.
Undertake research for the Deputy Heads and Managers.

Essential Requirements
Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) and an Administrative certificate or any other related and
equivalent certificate. * Valid motor vehicle driving license.
3 years relevant experience
Computer Literacy.
Preferred Requirements
Diploma (NQF Level 6) in the Administration field.
4 Years relevant experience.
