. We are seeking an organised, detail-oriented individual with strong administrative and data capturing skills, supported by practical knowledge of office systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes.
This role requires someone who can balance accuracy and efficiency in handling data while providing reliable administrative support to the team.
Minimum Requirements
Proven accuracy and attention to detail when working with data, figures, and documentation.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team dynamic, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
Comfortable managing a wide range of data capture, clerical, and administrative tasks.
Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Experience working with databases or business systems (experience with
Avihance
will be advantageous).
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
Professional communication skills (both written and verbal).
A positive, adaptable, and proactive approach to the workplace.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Data Entry & System Updates
Capture daily Breeder Production information on
Avihance
.
Capture daily Hatchery Production information on
Avihance
.
Ensure all information is recorded timeously, accurately, and in line with reporting deadlines.
2. Data Verification & Accuracy
Validate data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
Identify and correct errors, duplications, or inconsistencies in the data.
Maintain data integrity to support decision-making and reporting processes.
3. Communication & Collaboration
Liaise with team members, managers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements or resolve discrepancies.
Provide regular updates on data entry progress and outstanding items.
Support colleagues by sharing relevant information and ensuring smooth workflows.
4. Documentation & Reporting
Compile and submit weekly reports for the division manager.
Maintain clear and accurate records of all data entry activities.
Assist in preparing documentation for audits, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
Support ad-hoc reporting requirements as requested.
5. General Administrative Support
Provide clerical assistance including filing, scanning, and document management.
