Actuarial Specialist

Job Summary We're seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Life Pricing Actuary. In this role, you'll play a vital part in shaping our pricing strategies and ensuring the competitiveness of our life insurance products. If you have a strong understanding of actuarial principles, experience in life insurance pricing, and proficiency in actuarial software, we want to hear from you!
Duties
Involvement in all pricing activities in the Life & Health domain in South Africa
Assist in development of best-in-class bases
Involvement in product development and product enhancements for life insurance products
Development of tools and processes to facilitate improved operational performance across the business
Pioneering thought leadership in (re)insurance industry
Involvement in client relationship building from a technical perspective
Experience
- Minimum of 4 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in the Life (re-)insurance industry.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages (particularly Excel)
- Experience of coding
- Strong technical, analytical and modelling skills.
