This role is available in our offices based in Cape Town or Sandton.
Role Purpose

An exciting opportunity is available in the Structured Investments team within Momentum Corporatexe2x80x99s structured Investments and Annuities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various aspects of research, design, development, pricing, and implementation of competitive and profitable smoothed bonus solutions.
Requirements

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in actuarial science or related fields.

• Completion of all A-level exams.

• At least two years of work experience.

• Advanced Excel and SQL skills will be a distinct advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of new smoothed bonus solutions, including the necessary quantitative analysis and preparing product approval documents for governance forums.

• Identify potential improvements to our existing solutions and their management, seeking approval for changes from governance forums.

• Actively participate in industry research and monitoring, keeping an eye on the target market and competitors to identify opportunities, threats, and areas of for solution enhancement.

• Provide technical advice and expertise to support sales and marketing initiatives.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, assisting them in analysing, supplying, and translating information on smoothed bonus solutions.

• Preparing reports, marketing materials and content related to the solution set.

• Undertake ad hoc actuarial projects and investigations.
