Role Purpose

The Actuarial Analyst will be using their skills to assist the business to develop and generate tailored health insurance quotations for corporate business by analysing the group specific risk profile.
Requirements

• Matric

• Degree in Actuarial Science (preferred) or a degree in Data Science Partial progress in actuarial exams

• Exposure to standard business packages xe2x80x93; e.g. Excel (preferred), SQL, VBA.

• Experience in working with data analysis

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of a model to generate tailored health insurance quotations for corporate business by analysing the group specific risk profile.

• Develop, review, and execute discounted quotes, within the agreed upon service level agreement, in alignment with established guidelines and pricing strategies.

• Collaborate with the pricing team to contribute insights and recommendations for continuous improvement of our pricing structure.

• Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to inform adjustments to our discounted quoting approach.

• Foster collaborative relationships with the sales team to enhance synergy and maximise collective success.

• Maintain detailed records of all discounted quotes, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for future reference. Generate regular reports on the success and impact of discounted quoting initiatives.

• Improving efficiency in the team by continual improvement of models and reports, using VBA, cubes and data visualisation tools.

• Participate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional client service

• Collaborate and build relationships with product development and segment teams across Momentum Health Solutions

• Make recommendations to improve client service and fair treatment of clients within area of responsibility

• Positively influence and participate in change initiatives.
