Requirements

• Honours degree in Actuarial Science by end of 2023 calander year

• Job shadowing or vacation work experience will be advantageous

• Interest and experience in information technology (Prophet, Visual Studio, SQL, ResQ experience will be an advantage)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Join established teams in either BSM Life or BSM Non Life

• Maintain, expand and improve automation processes using proprietary software

• Participate in the multi-disciplinary IFRS 17 project team

• Maintain allocated cell client models calculating SCR

• Maintain allocated cell client models for Technical Provisions

• Participate in ORSA process for allocated clients

• Direct client engagement on balance sheet management matters

• Assist in regulatory return preparation and dealing with queries

• Internal and external stakeholder engagement on accountable areas

• Fast learner able to code in at least 1 language
