My client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (Billing) Manager to oversee their billing and banking processes, manage debtor engagement, and lead a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Billing & Banking Oversight: Manage end-to-end billing and banking processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Customer Engagement Management: Oversee the debtors customer engagement function to maintain strong relationships and streamline collections.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop the billing and banking team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
• Policy & Procedure Management: Develop, implement, and maintain departmental policies and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Reporting & Analysis: Produce timely and accurate reports on billing, banking, and staff performance, providing insights for decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including the Collections Manager, Vetting Manager, and Line Manager, to align financial processes and objectives.
• Training & Development: Ensure that staff are equipped with the necessary skills and training to meet departmental goals effectively.

• Completed Diploma/Degree in Finance or Credit Management.
• Strong understanding of billing, banking, and accounts receivable processes.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles, including journal postings.
• Experience in staff supervision, reporting, and financial process optimization.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proven ability to manage, develop, and motivate a team effectively.
