Accounts Receivable Accountant

Job Description
Your purpose will be to manage the financial accounting relating to the provision of accurate financial information, reconciliations, and analysis of ledgers, the required reporting for management and ensure its validity, accuracy, and completeness. You will also be responsible for assistance with internal and external auditors, ensure compliance with legislation affecting reported results and participation in year-end functions.
Other duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Monthly billing (invoice generation and distribution, including statements)
- Completing the customer Refunds process
- Processing Credit notes
- Capturing all investment and current bank accounts
- Reconciliation of GL to Revenue Billing Files
- Collection on outstanding debtors and providing weekly age analysis commentary
- Assisting in the preparation of journal entries
- Uploading invoices/statements on clients' portals
- Preparing month end balance sheet recons
- Assisting with capturing budgets and forecasts
- Participating in internal & external auditing activities
- BCom degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience
- TM1 advantageous
- MS Packages on Advanced level
- Analytical problem solver
- Skilled in X3 ERP
- Knowledge of revenue controls in ensuring that revenue is valid, accurate and complete
- Performance of Reconciliations and process flow documentation
- Great interpersonal skills
- Results driven
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in teams
