A leading pharmaceutical company is looking for a Junior Accountant - Accounts Receivable for their offices in Johannesburg.

Job Purpose:
End to End debtorsxe2x80x99 function, maintaining customer Master Data, customer cash collections, handling customer queries, Invoicing, timely communication with 3PL to ensure debtors accounts are accurate.

Main Duties and Responsibilities are:

• Daily downloading of bank statements, and identifying customer receipts
• Correctly allocating receipts to customer accounts and invoices
• Requesting remittance advices from customers
• Notify 3rd Party logistics company of daily customer receipts
• Following up on queries and outstanding debtors
• Maintenance of customer Master Data
• Processing of approved credit notes
• Raising of non-sales related invoices
• Assist with Internal & external audit requests
• E-mail statements / invoices to customers as and when required
• Attend monthly debtorsxe2x80x99 meetings with feedback on allocated customers
• Ensuring target debtors days are achieved
• Assisting with weekly cash forecasts
• Communication with customers to ensure that they pay the Company on time
• Ad hoc functions in Debtors as and when required

Qualifying Requirements are:

• Related Finance qualification
• Minimum 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in an accounts receivable position
• Experience within Pharmaceutical industry
• People skills xe2x80x93 highly adapted interpersonal skills
• Problem solving analysis skills
• Priority setting xe2x80x93 initiative and follow through
• Time management and deadline driven, ensuring weekly, monthly, and quarterly deadlines are met
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Embodies the business values & behaviours in all internal and external interactions
