This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of day-to-day invoice and expense processing in a global, multi-currency environment.In this role, you'll work closely with the Cashbook team to ensure our purchase-to-pay processes run efficiently - making sure suppliers and staff are paid accurately and on time. You'll thrive here if you enjoy balancing meticulous attention to detail with the satisfaction of hitting deadlines and solving problems.What you'll doxe2x9cx94 Accurately code, authorize, and post supplier invoices into Microsoft Dynamics 365, following our agreed standards.
xe2x9cx94 Review and post staff expense claims, ensuring they align with company policies.
xe2x9cx94 Set up and maintain supplier accounts, and manage fortnightly payment runs.
xe2x9cx94 Respond to payment and invoice queries from both internal teams and suppliers.
xe2x9cx94 Reconcile supplier statements and assist with month-end journal postings (credit cards, expenses, petty cash).
xe2x9cx94 Collaborate with fellow AP Executives to ensure smooth operations and provide cover as needed.
xe2x9cx94 Assist with banking reconciliations and provide key information to auditors.
xe2x9cx94 Support overseas subsidiaries with training, accounting, and bookkeeping tasks.
xe2x9cx94 Handle any ad hoc finance duties, jumping in where help is needed.Requirements:

  • Strong accounting knowledge, including double-entry, reconciliations, and AP ledger experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in an accounts payable role - ideally within a multi-currency finance team.
  • Familiarity with cashbook and sales ledger functions (a plus, but not required).
  • Sharp data processing skills - fast, accurate, and precise.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities, with the confidence to work independently.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (essential); knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (desirable).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise a busy workload, and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive, flexible attitude and a commitment to working as part of a collaborative team.
  • Professionalism in all written and verbal communication.
