Job Summary Duties and Responsibilities Process outgoing local and foreign payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures. Perform day to day transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data. Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted. Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling supplier accounts and monthly supplier statements. Generate reports detailing accounts payables status. Perform Excel reporting on Creditors Ageing Analysis. Provide information to the Finance Manager for accurate cash flow forecasts as required. Proficient with word, excel, Microsoft Office. Experience with processing on Pastel Evolution is compulsory. Proposing enhancements to, revising, and implementing accounts payable policies and procedures. Prepare, report & manage monthly creditors ageing reports to management. Preparation of month end journals and balancing of cost of sales. Assisting in compilation of management accounts. Desired Skills & Experience - Minimum Requirements We are looking for an experienced candidate that should be deadline driven, able to work under pressure, a quick system learner, master the art of multitasking and have an accounting background. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, identify milestones and deliverables, and ensure that invoices are accurately completed on time. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, technical, IT and numerical abilities are crucial.
