A well-established organisation is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to support its finance team on a fixed-term contract. The role focuses on accurate invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, and timely payments in line with internal financial controls.
Key Requirements:
Matric with Accounting as a passed subject
Minimum 3 years' experience in an Accounts Payable role
Experience working on an ERP system (SAP advantageous)
Solid understanding of VAT and invoice compliance
Key Responsibilities:
Process and capture supplier invoices accurately and timeously
Prepare payment batches and ensure suppliers are paid on due date
Perform weekly and month-end supplier reconciliations
Resolve supplier and internal queries within agreed turnaround times
Raise general ledger journals and support month-end close
Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
