Accounts Officer / Bookkeeper (JB5301)

R20 000 R30 000 CTC per month (dependent on experience)

Requirements
Grade 12 and relevant bookkeeping/accounting qualification
Minimum 3 years full-function bookkeeping experience
Proficient in Sage Accounting and SimplePay Payroll
Strong knowledge of statutory submissions (VAT201, EMP201, EMP501, IRP5)
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
Able to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with Magnetic software is a strong advantage
Key Responsibilities
Full-function bookkeeping: capture, reconcile, and report across all accounts
Cashbook and bank reconciliation
Supplier invoicing, reconciliations, and purchase order management
Customer invoicing, statement generation, and debtor follow-ups
Processing on various client procurement platforms
Monthly payroll processing via SimplePay, including statutory deductions
VAT, PAYE, UIF, SDL, and Workmans Compensation submissions
Financial reporting: Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Aged Debtors/Creditors, Job Costing, and Trial Balance
Employee onboarding and record management
