We maintain a challenging work environment with corresponding respect for work/life balance. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Controller/Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. In this role you need to be able to confidently navigate all aspects of the accounting function (debtors, creditors, general ledger) up to Trial Balance and will work closely with the Accounting Manager to ensure our record keeping is accurate and our financial controls remain watertight. If you are confident in yourself and your abilities, are a great team player and have the ability to get on with your tasks using your experience and understanding of accounting principles, you may be the ideal candidate for this role.

Minimum Requirements

Diploma in Financial Management/Accounting 3-5 years experience in a similar role Experience on an end to end ERP system Strong understanding of all aspects of accounting Ability to work effectively and accurately under pressure Ability to perform complex reconciliations Confident in your ability Trustworthy and reliable A great team player

Duties and Responsibilities

Contribute to the maintenance of accurate accounting records Reconciliation of multiple bank accounts Preparing monthly general ledger journals Execute and support various aspects of debtors and creditors including complex reconciliations Processing transactions on the ERP system Assisting with preparation of VAT Input and Output reports Assisting with preparation of reports to the bank Assisting with audit processes Assisting in areas when team members are not available * Any other ad hoc admin or accounting tasks
