Morningside, DurbanOur Accounts department division is seeking a
dedicated and career-driven Junior Accounts Controller
to join our finance team. The ideal candidate must have solid experience in accounting, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.Minimum Requirements
2+ years' experience
in an accounting role (preferably increditors
) Proficient inQuickBooks
or a similar accounting packageOwn transport
(essential) Basic understanding of theshipping or logistics industry
(advantageous)Strong attention to detail
, accuracy, and excellent communication skills. Excellent analytical skills*
Key Responsibilities
Process supplier invoices, reconciliations, and payments Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end reporting Liaise with internal departments and suppliers regarding account queries Assist with general accounting and administrative tasks as requiredE-Mail all CV's to: dbnacc@srashipping.co.za
