Accounting & Payroll Officer

Job Description
Working hours: Monday - Friday - 07:30 - 16:00
Type: Office based - Permanent
Area: close to Grootfontein, Pretoria
To start as soon as possible
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Knowledge of Accounting Software and Payroll Systems (Pastel)
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- 2+ Years experience in Accounting and Payroll (Payroll processing, tax compliance and benefit administration)
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, automotive industry would be beneficial
- Own reliable vehicle is essential
- Process payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Prepare and submit payroll reports and tax returns
- Collaborate with HR and Finance team to ensure smooth operations
- Manage accounts receivable
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, law and regulations
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations
- Manage and reconcile petty cash fund
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of petty cash transactions
- Process and record small transactions, including expenses and reimbursements
- Process and prepare sundry creditor payments in a timely and accurate manner
