Duties

• Lead month-end closing for diverse finance functions in the Shared Service Center
• Guide audits, support SOX controls, manage MEA treasury, and ensure compliance with policies and local standards.
• Provide financial support on country-specific regulations and contribute to automation and ERP implementation.
• Collaborate in monthly/quarterly reviews with FPA, Tax, and country finance managers.
• Financial Controls, Compliance, and Risk: Partner for audit and control testing, recommend adjustments for compliance and risk mitigation.
• Finance Processes and Systems: Address obstacles, facilitate collaboration, and suggest ongoing productivity improvements.
• Apply accounting principles in complex scenarios, demonstrate expertise, and review team's work for accuracy.
• Develop best practices, ensure streamlined inputs, tailor reports, and seek regular feedback.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Chartered Accountant accreditation is essential
• 5 to 8 years commercial experience
• Experience in Middle East Africa and North Africa regions is essential.
• Experience in the IT or telecommunications space is highly beneficial.
