Job Summary

Hire Resolve's client is seeking a dedicated Accountant/Audit Clerk to join their team in Johannesburg. As an Accountant/Audit Clerk, you will be responsible for performing various accounting and auditing tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities

• Conducting financial audits and reviews to ensure compliance with regulations
• Preparing financial statements and reports
• Assisting with the completion of tax returns
• Performing general accounting tasks such as reconciliations and journal entries
• Assisting with budget preparation and financial forecasting
• Providing support during external audits
• Keeping up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and accounting standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Experience in accounting and/or auditing
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
