Job Summary
:
Manage the full accounting function, including processing, reconciliations, journals, and month-end close
Maintain and oversee the purchase order system, ensuring accurate capturing, matching, and approval workflows
Prepare and review monthly management accounts with supporting schedules and variance analysis
Assist with the implementation and application of IFRS standards, ensuring financial reporting aligns with compliance requirements
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure all financial data is accurate and up to date
Support budgeting and forecasting processes by preparing reports, analysing trends, and providing insights
Manage creditors and debtors functions, ensuring timely payments and collections
Prepare VAT submissions, ensure compliance with SARS requirements, and assist with annual audits
Collaborate with operational teams to ensure proper cost allocations and support decision-making
Identify opportunities to improve controls, streamline processes, and strengthen financial procedures
Skills & Experience:
Completed SAIPA articles
Proficiency working on Xero or any other ERP software
2-3 years of commercial experience
Qualification:
Relevant degree in finance or accounting
