Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing of clients and the collection of the receivables
Manage the bank reconciliation process
Prepare financial statements in accordance with the applicable accounting standards, including the analysis against targets and budgets, and working with non-financial managers with the monitoring thereof
Support the annual audit process
Assist with the annual budgeting process
Liaise with financial institutions regarding all banking transactions and provide general administration of banking facilities
Identify control and procedural inefficiencies, manage change and development, and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiencies and effectiveness of the finance function
Requirements:
Accounting/Finance Degree
3-5 years experience as an Accountant
Similar role experience highly favoured.
Knowledge of South African, US, or UK tax regimes is beneficial.
