Job Description

Job Summary My client is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage their financial and payroll functions, ensuring accurate records and compliance with accounting standards.
This role is based in Paarl, Western Cape.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage customer payments and resolve queries.
Oversee payroll and statutory returns.
Monitor daily cash flow and prepare reports.
Maintain financial records and reconcile accounts.
Prepare monthly management accounts and assist with year-end closings.
Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost analysis.
Maintain fixed asset registers and stock records.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance.
3-5 years of accounting experience (audit background advantageous).
Proficiency in MS Excel and Pastel Evolution.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
