Job Description

My client is a large corporate company based in Roodepoort. We are seeking a

dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant

to join their corporate team. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a driven and high-performing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing key financial functions, ensuring compliance, and supporting the business with timely and accurate reporting.

You MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:

SAP ECC6 or ECC9 Experience in inter-company billing in complex corporate setup Exchange transactions.
Duties include, but are not limited to:

Maintain and manage general ledger accounts, journal entries, and reconciliations Inter-company billing Foreign exchange transactions Understand a T-Account Income statements and balance sheet transactions Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements Handle VAT, tax submissions, and statutory compliance Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Manage cash flow and bank reconciliations Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis for management Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Monitor financial controls and recommend improvements Ensure adherence to internal policies and accounting standards.
Desired qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum 5 -7 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment with longer periods of employment at each client Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficient in accounting software, specifically

SAP

and MS Excel - this is

non negotiable

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Professional, proactive, and detail-oriented as a dynamic go-getter Adaptable and able to work under pressure High level of integrity and confidentiality Team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
