Job Description

Calling all immediately available, experienced mid-tier Accountants for various contractual opportunities across multiple industries. The ideal candidate must possess strong corporate finance experience, and be confident in handling full accounting functions, month-end close processes, and reporting in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full accounting function including general ledger, reconciliations, and journal processing
Prepare and review monthly management accounts with accuracy and timeliness
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding reconciling items
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes including supplier and customer reconciliations
Process VAT, PAYE, and other statutory returns
Support external audit processes by preparing schedules and responding to audit queries
Liaise with internal departments to gather financial data and provide reporting insights

Requirements and Qualifications:

Relevant degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance
Corporate Experience is essential
Strong working knowledge of accounting systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Sage, or similar)
Proficient in MS Excel with the ability to work with large datasets
Solid understanding of financial controls, reporting requirements, and compliance
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Must be immediately available
